Cancer is a journey.
Your care
shouldn’t be.
When UMC TLC² Foundation Cancer Center opens its doors in Spring 2026, it will bring a high-tech, high-touch, and patient-centered approach to care. We are committed to delivering world-class care and treatment to a broader range of people across our region.
The UMC TLC² Foundation Cancer Center will allow more people to receive research-backed, state-of-the-art cancer care without the burden of long-distance travel. We believe that cancer is a journey; your care shouldn’t be.
World-class care closer to home.
When you or someone you love is diagnosed with cancer, whether in West Texas or Eastern New Mexico, it impacts lives. Our goal is to help patients live their lives to the fullest while undergoing treatment. Our vision for the new cancer center keeps you closer to home and closer to your support system.
TTUHSC Rural Cancer Collaborative
Accessing timely cancer care can be especially challenging for Texans in rural areas, where provider shortages and long travel distances often result in delayed diagnoses and limited treatment options. The Rural Cancer Collaborative, led by TTUHSC, is working to bridge the gap and improve outcomes for those who need it most.
Our vision for the new cancer center keeps you
closer to home and closer to your support system.
The UMC TLC² Foundation Cancer Center was thoughtfully designed with your comfort, healing, and peace of mind at the center of every detail. From calming natural light to cozy, supportive infusion chairs, every choice we made was to help ease your journey—boosting energy, aiding recovery, and reducing fatigue in ways that matter.
At the heart of your care is a team of TTUHSC experts, each focusing on specific types of cancer. They bring not just knowledge, but a deep sense of dedication to each patient they serve.
Our Integrative Medicine Program provides continuous support for you and your loved ones, navigating every emotion and stage of the cancer journey and beyond. Whether it’s Acupuncture, Music or Art Therapy, Massage, Yoga, or Nutritional Counseling—our goal is simple: to care for your body, mind, and spirit. Because cancer care should heal more than just the disease.
With two new precision radiotherapy systems, we provide targeted, effective, and state-of-the-art treatment. And with the addition of a second PET/CT scanner and a dedicated MRI, your scans are faster, more accurate—and all in one place, without the need to travel.
With expanded space and a growing team of expert providers, TTUHSC and UMC are deepening our commitment to research—bringing more clinical trials, including early-stage options, right here to our region. That means greater access to promising and innovative treatments, long before they’re available elsewhere.
